Turgut Uyar, who wrote this unique book that outlines the horizons of Turkish poetry with a poem from 21 poets from Abdülhak Hâmit to Cemal Kırca, has also produced a kind of poetry anthology or poetry history with a different method.

From a Poem has been one of the favorite books written on our poetry since it was published in 1983. We felt the need to publish a separate edition in order to determine the importance and privileged place of the book and to ensure that it comes to the fore again.
