Said-i Kürdiden Said-i Nursiye Nurcu Hareket ve Kürt Nurculugu

Communities in Islamic countries are institutions that express the reactions of the middle classes and tradesmen against the order in religious forms, and also undertake some social functions. Communities are not random, temporary phenomena created by someone's will. As long as the middle classes exist, as long as religion maintains its influence on the poor masses, and as long as the ruling classes need religion to govern the masses, communities will continue to exist. In this process, some communities will disappear, some will divide, new communities will emerge, but the phenomenon of community will continue to exist.
The Nurcu community differs from other communities with some of its features. We can summarize these features as follows:
Nur Community is the first community to be formed in Turkey. After Said-i Kürdi changed his name in the 1930s, became Said-i Nursi and started writing Risale-i Nur, a community formed around him in the Aegean region. This was the first congregation to become a financial power, having hundreds of staff in different regions in the 1930s.
Secondly, the community to which the state and imperialism showed the most interest was the Nur community. In the 1990s, international symposiums were held and books were written in the name of Said-i Nursi in Turkey and in various countries. No community founder in Turkey has received such international attention.
Thirdly, the Gülen movement, which was introduced as Nurcu, has turned into a worldwide organization with its schools and activities. The Gülen movement, which is claimed to have taken over the state together with the AKP governments, has never left the agenda, and is the first thing that comes to mind when "community" is mentioned, is publicly known as the Nurcu Community. No other community in Turkey has had this much influence within the official bureaucracy, in education and in the international arena.
Fourth, the first Kurdish Islamic community was founded by Kurdish Nurcus in 1990. In other words, Nurcus are the ones who founded the first Islamic communities both in Turkey and in the Kurdish region.
In this book, Osman Tiftikçi examines the Nurcu communities, which have such an important place among the Islamic movements and communities in Turkey, and Said Nursi, the founder of Nurcu. The author has books on the Islamic movement called The Birth of Islamism, Its Development in Turkey from the Ottoman Empire to the Present Day and The Islamic Movement in Turkey from the 1960s to the Present Day.
