Golyan Revolution
If you consider it as my fault that the people and events that are tried to be told in all these stories are not at all similar to the people of our country and the events that take place in our country, you will be one hundred percent wrong. I say this based on my observations of all these years: Neither the rulers of the Republic of Hayristan nor its writers, nor the people on the streets, nor its women and children are similar to ours, at all.
Golian Revolution consists of fourteen stories set in the Republic of Hayristan, a country whose location we cannot find on the world map. The heroes of the stories are Hayristan's administrators, politicians, soldiers, writers, businessmen and prostitutes. Intersecting events and people reappearing in different stories give the work the appearance of a scattered novel. Regardless, we find Tahsin Yücel's unique "irony" in this book, and we hope that Golyan Revolution will be a reading feast for story lovers.
