Some of them will always pass away, some of them are on the verge of extinction, some of them continue to take a completely different form... The disappearance of some professions and crafts is a loss, a decrease directly related to the decrease in the Greek, Armenian and Jewish population in Turkey. Rita Ender's interviews open up to us the worlds of the masters who do these professions with passion and care.
