Hasan Sabbah and Alamut Book Description The Alamut State, which Hasan Sabbah (1032-1124) founded on the foundations of freedom, peace, equality and sharing, ruled for 167 years. Alamut is a state consisting of "Darül Hicars" (Immigrants' Homes), castle settlements where there is no private property, working jointly and eating from the same cauldron, under the management of the Chief Dais (Sages), known to have reached 300, within the wide Middle Eastern Geography extending from the Pamirs to the Southeastern Mediterranean coasts and Palestine. .Hasan Sabbah neither trained murderers nor assassins in his castle state nor made Alamut a drug paradise, as his enemies claimed. In historical documents, Hasan Sabbah appears as a person who avoided war, but his enemies (Sunni Baghdad Caliphs, Seljuk Sultans, Crusaders, Mongols) were numerous and numerous. It is understood that Hasan Sabbah's superiority led him to the idea of creating a defensive guerrilla in Alamut. Contrary to the claims, these bouncers only assassinated the pro-war, oppressive rulers who oppressed the people of the region and declared war on Alamut. What Western historians cannot perceive and explain is how belief turns a person into a weapon. In this sense, they took the easy way out and tried to get out of the situation by explaining Hasan Sabbah and his Fedayeen with poppy seeds and fake paradise. However, the real truth is that faithful fighters who turned into weapons to defend the country sacrificed themselves for the sake of their country and their beliefs. In recent history, Japanese Kamikazes can be cited as an example. Hasan Sabbah and Alamut are the names of a history that we should think more about as we move towards the future… (From the Promotional Bulletin) Number of Pages: 344Print Year: 2016Language: TurkishPublisher: Su Yayınları
