“Towards the end of 1980, when I was in primary schools in Bursa for the Turkish standardization of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children Revised Form, among the complaints I received from teachers and administrators was the situation of children who could not learn to read and write in the first grade. Their teachers were saying that they thought the children were actually smart, but although more than half of the class was able to read and write, some children were not able to achieve the success expected from them. "They even stated that they took special care of these children but still could not help." THEY ARE CHILDREN WITH SPECIFIC LEARNING DISORDER (SEN).

It is today's general knowledge that most psychiatric disorders have a biological basis and a biological equivalent. This information also applies to Specific Learning Disorder (SLD). The aim of the book in your hand is to put the Clinical Observation Battery, which allows observation of SLD symptoms, into the perspective of contemporary "cognitive neuroscience". For this purpose, the SLD Battery is used together with the neuropsychological tests in the BİLNOT Battery, for which all R&D processes have been completed. Thus, SLD is observed and measured not only psychometrically but also neuropsychometrically.

Expanded Neuropsychometry Battery for SLD is the BİLNOT Battery, which has been studied since the 1980s, and the SLD Battery, which has been studied since 1990.
