City Like Heaven consists of the stories written by Simin Danişver, based on the real lives of the people, most of whom she met personally, of a dark and suffocating era that she experienced, in her own words.

Like other contemporary intellectuals, he fulfilled his duty of guidance by showing the people of the society he lived in the situation they were in, through the stories he wrote.
