Hidden Subject
In a mourning house, a pair of coffee cups break and two different pasts come to life in the minds of two women, one young and one old. Revna, the fiancée of Reha, who lost her life unexpectedly, grew up in an orphanage and is trying to forget the terrible experience she had at the age of three by running away from her past, and paying the price for what she could not face by having a seizure. Bihter, who suddenly lost her son Reha and is told by "Hidden Subject", will alleviate the burden of growing up in a family with a method that doctors cannot solve.
Love, family, marriage and life have very different meanings for these two women, one of whom wants to belong and the other wants to be herself, and whose paths intersect in an unexpected way.
While Nihan Kaya's popular novel, The Hidden Subject, is being revised and republished, the author does not shy away from examining and questioning love, family, marriage and life from two different perspectives in her unique style.
“Bihter was thinking about these things while sweeping the muddy streets with the skirts of her wedding dress. A young girl, who appeared to be a bride because of her wedding dress, boarded the bus from the IETT stop where she was waiting alone. A fluffy skirt of a white wedding dress did not fit on the narrow steps of an IETT bus. A wedding dress tail gathered dust on the floor of a bus where it crawled. "On a bus, all the passengers' eyes fell on a bride who got on alone."
