Hitit Mitolojisi
(Kella, the priest with ointment) said: (At first) the serpent Illu defeated (the ianka Storm God) and took out (his heart and eyes), and the Storm God (was afraid (?) of him)
So He took a poor man's daughter as his wife and had a son. When (the child) grew up, that serpent took Illuianka's daughter as his wife.
The Storm God constantly orders him: "When you go to your wife's house (to live), ask for her heart (mi) and eyes (mi) (as bride price)." When He was gone, He asked them for the heart. And they gave it to him. Then he asked them for the eyes and they gave them (to him). He took them to his father, the Storm God. And the Storm God took back the heart and the eyes.
When his body regained its former shape, he went to the sea again to fight. As soon as they started fighting, He began to defeat the serpent Illuianka, and the son of the Storm God is on the serpent Illuianka's side. (He) cried out to his father in the sky:
"Include me. Don't pity me!" (Thus) the Storm God killed the serpent Illuianka and her son.
