    How AKP Harms Workers In this book, Yıldırım Koç, one of the important theorists of the Turkish trade union movement, reveals the damage caused to workers by the AKP, which has been in power for four years. Koç's main purpose is to remind the workers once again of the harm caused to the workers by the AKP Government. Because a significant portion of the workers voted for the AKP in the elections and took responsibility for the implementation of AKP policies that caused great harm to the workers. According to Koç, "the September 12 period mainly targeted union organisation". ''ANAP governments were also against the working class. However, the AKP Government directly targeted the workers. AKP dealt a blow to both union organization and workers directly through increasing unemployment and illegal labor. In this study, Koç also questions the Islamic thought's view of capital by asking "Why is AKP Anti-Worker and Pro-Capital?" Not only that, he discusses the real source of AKP's policies that harm workers, its connection with imperialism and especially the IMF.
