İbnül Arabi Sözlüğü
While Ibn Arabi, in one sense, represents the pinnacle of the possibilities of Sufi experience throughout its historical development, in another sense he has an astonishing power in creating terms. When Ibn Arabi tries to explain any state or world, or a level or ruling, he also explains its appearances and, more importantly, gives it a name.
This persistent desire of Ibn al-Arabi to name things in order to dominate themselves creates a new language. This language makes it possible to put some names and terms before all the thoughts and particular subjects of previous Sufism. While all of these, in one sense, legitimize the emergence of the Sufi dictionary, on the other hand, they confirm the belonging of this dictionary to Ibn al-Arabi. Therefore, Ibn al-Arabi is the pole of the Sufi language and terms. Every term we encounter in the texts of the Sufis either attains its perfection in Ibn al-Arabi or gains its true meaning in Ibn al-Arabi.
