Ideology in Turkish Cinema, whose first edition was published in 1977 when its author was only 24 years old, was published for the second time by Sepya Publishing after 33 years. The work, which is the only self-contained book written in its field, comments on the ideological movements in Turkish Cinema through the eyes of young filmmaker Mesut Ucakan.
Suat Köçer, who prepared the second edition of the book for publication, had an extensive interview with the master director, consisting of five sessions, around the same topics. The book, which includes this interview, sheds light on director Mesut Ucakan's 35-year cinema adventure as well as the ideological debates in Turkish Cinema.
