Members of the Moran family begin their story with a humbled heart, in which moral values are questioned and reason and emotions collide, with the hesitation between tradition and modernity.

Mehmet with his love of art, Arda with her passion for science, and the women of the family fight against a patriarchal structure and a materialistic world with the difficulties of being a woman. Even though the tulip turns its face away from the sun while the soil it grows in is in dire need of the sun, the heroes, who are stuck in a dead end in the face of vanishing values, will turn their faces to the sun with their struggle.
