İzzettin Yıldırım - The Devotion Story of an Oppressed Martyr
Writing the biography and memoirs of a martyr who devoted himself to a great cause is very difficult and demanding for someone like me who cannot write well.
Even though the deceased himself said to a few of us, "Take note of some of the things you heard from me", due to my negligence, I could not write down what I heard and my memories about the late martyr for a long time.
In February 2011, I read the articles written by two of our friends on the occasion of the twelfth anniversary of the deceased's martyrdom. Even though they were close to the deceased until his martyrdom and had many memories about him, they were reproaching those who did not write them down. I was very saddened and impressed by this situation.
For this reason, I thought it was a duty of loyalty to write this book, which I wanted to be considered partly as a biography and partly as a remembrance of our experiences together.
