We have limited the issue you have as Ethics-Aesthetics I: The Resistance of the Good and the Beautiful in Social History. While discussing the "resistance of the good and the beautiful in history", we start with Zilar Bilmez, who discusses the problems that have snowballed as a result of society losing or weakening its ethical-aesthetic values and moral-political qualities, and tips on the solution of these problems. As Zilar says, "the fundamental power to recreate ethical and aesthetic values lies with women, if they can transcend themselves and recreate them." The hope against the ugliness spread by fascism and occupation policies lies in the women's revolution. In this respect, it is both important and urgent for Jineolojî to determine how to approach the field of ethics-aesthetics both semantically and scientifically. Because, "Aesthetics and ethics, as the beautification and liberation of life, are an existential issue for women." We believe that Elif Mercan's article, which deals with the ethical-aesthetic approach of jineology methodologically and theoretically, will nourish the studies to be carried out on this subject.
