2-Kurdish Question and Uncounted Rebellions 1514-1919 - Bülent Tekin
1- Imperialism and the Kurdish Question 1917 - 1923 - MS Lazarev
Prof. Let us state that, just as Lazarev contributed greatly to the Kurdish history methodology with these works, he also tried to shed light on a delicate period of Kurdish history with first-hand sources. However, by the way, we have to mention one feature of Soviet publications. In the publications in question, there is an approach of searching for 'Western imperialists' behind all historical and social facts, whitewashing the Soviet policy and generally ignoring the Kemalist policy. Although Lazarev, as a scientist, generally has a careful attitude. However, we still have to emphasize this feature of Soviet publications, especially the 'Great Soviet Encyclopedia'. However, you will find that Lazarev's in-depth study sheds great light on a critical period of Kurdish history.
2-Kurdish Question and Uncounted Rebellions 1514-1919 - Bülent Tekin
The book Kurdish Question and Uncounted Rebellions tells the story that begins with the disorganized Kurds, stuck between the Turks and Persians, choosing mostly the Turks (Ottomans) to live authentically in these lands. While this orientation easily opened the way for the Ottoman Empire to pass to the East and from there to the Middle East and North Africa, it created national feelings and thoughts of separateness, albeit very weak, in the Kurds who lived in a tribal lifestyle. The Ottoman-Kurdish alliance, which started with Yavuz Sultan Selim and Idris-i Bitlisi, would, over time, cause the dominant state, the Ottoman Empire, to encounter rebellions that would disturb it. I tried to explain the resistance of the Kurds, which can be considered an uprising or rebellion - but actually it is not! I tried to write about some rebellions or - perhaps? - events that were considered as judicial cases by the Turks, which have never been written down or remained in the dark until today. The book mostly analyzes the Turkish (Ottoman)-Kurdish relations between 1514 and 1919 and the emergence of the Kurdish Question that resulted from this. Why did the Kurds have to oppose this relationship today? The reason why the Ottomans ruled Kurdistan without using weapons and the subsequent leadership objections of the feudal lords living in those lands are explained in this book. In a way, this book has searched for the initial principles of the Kurdish Question and analyzed its evolution to the present day.
