- With the declaration of the Constitutional Monarchy in 1908, some Kurdish intellectuals who had previously been exiled returned to Istanbul. Intellectuals who supported the Constitutional Monarchy also founded an association in the same year: Kurdish Solidarity and Progress Society. The society, whose founders include figures such as Emin Ali Bedirhan and Seyid Abdülkadir, is considered the first Kurdish organization. The society, which created a widespread organizational network in a short time and opened branches in many parts of Kurdistan, also focuses on cultural studies; He publishes a newspaper called "Kurdish Teaün ve Terakki Newspaper", opens a school for Kurdish children, establishes a printing house, and works to establish a bank.
The book, which introduces the Kurdish Solidarity and Progress Society, which has a leading position in the Kurdish national movement, in detail, also includes a wide selection of articles from nine issues of the society's publication, the Kurdish Solidarity and Progress Newspaper.
