- "Kurds" was released in April 2003.
Eight years later, in October 2011, my second book, this time about the Kurdish issue; "Entrust Peace" was published.
"Kurds", which describes the 1980s and especially the 1990s and the early 2000s, was shaped by the knowledge and impressions I gained in the geography of Kurdistan, on the one hand, and in capital cities such as Ankara, Washington and London, on the other hand.
But it was the human stories that really left their mark on "Kurds". Because I tried to learn about the Kurdish issue not by reading about it, not at a desk, but by listening to the pain with my own ears, seeing it with my own eyes, and feeling the issue in my own heart.
In this book, there are not only Kurds, but also Turks. There is not only politics, but also people and the tragedies they experience.
