Devletin İç Düşmanı Kürtler
The codes of the state's policy of solving the Kurdish issue are hidden in the Kurdish reports given to the state throughout the history of the republic. A political solution to the Kurdish issue began to be discussed in the 1990s, and the issue continued to swing in the pendulum of a political solution and a military solution. The final point reached was again the military solution.
It is necessary to look at Kurdish reports to learn what the history of the republic understands from a military solution. Among the measures suggested for a military solution in the reports are discipline, punishment, exile, burning of villages, assimilation, application of colonial law, recruitment of Kurdish children for assimilation, such as recruitment of Christian children to the Janissary Corps.
The Gendarmerie General Command Report, which is the subject of the book, belongs to the years 1969-1970. On this date, the military solution of the Kurdish issue was transferred to the gendarmerie. That's why such a comprehensive report has been prepared. The report also includes a list of people to be detained, isolated and taken hostage, and places to be isolated and destroyed, as well as the situation and political attitudes of the tribes. The JGK Report in the book clearly explains why the Winged J-78 Exercise was carried out in 1978, when there was no armed uprising by the Kurds under the sovereignty of the Republic of Turkey, and the practices carried out by JITEM in the 1990s.
The suggestions and practices in the Kurdish reports are measures that can only be implemented against the enemy. There is no other explanation for things such as destruction, isolation and hostage taking in the report, which do not even exist in Turkish legislation. For this reason, Ruşen Arslan said, "I must admit that I had a hard time naming the book. I am also against the tendency towards angular and sharp definitions as a style. As a result, I decided on the name of the book, which I would have chosen more easily if I were not a Kurd: INTERNAL ENEMY OF THE STATE: KURDERS . Because another name would reflect the state's view of the Kurds." "It was not enough to explain. In fact, the name of the book is the Republic of Turkey rather than me." says
