Among the measures suggested for a military solution in the reports are discipline, punishment, exile, burning of villages, assimilation, application of colonial law, recruitment of Kurdish children for assimilation, such as recruitment of Christian children to the Janissary Corps.
The Gendarmerie General Command Report, which is the subject of the book, belongs to the years 1969-1970. On this date, the military solution of the Kurdish issue was transferred to the gendarmerie. That's why such a comprehensive report has been prepared. The report also includes a list of people to be detained, isolated and taken hostage, and places to be isolated and destroyed, as well as the situation and political attitudes of the tribes.
