Little Misunderstandings of No Importance includes the stories of Antonio Tabucchi, one of the master writers of today's European literature. They seem to be prisoners of their fate and step by step they reach the inevitable. Even though they try to take revenge on life, they have to bow down. What remains is the perception that what Tabucchi dismisses as a "misunderstanding" is a whole life. "One day the role we play will come true..." Tabucchi's heroes are not very important or prominent people; But in almost all of them, the humane qualities that the author carefully conveys predominate. In all of Tabucchi's works, a European intellectual born and raised in the second half of the 20th century, his anger against the legacy of fascism and social injustice, especially in Italy and Portugal, is expressed effectively.
