Fetvâlar Mecmûası - Şeyh Said Efendi

Fatwas written on different subjects were collected in fatwa magazines to be used for various purposes. Preparing collected works in this way has undoubtedly provided reliable resources for both practitioners and the public. In order to find solutions to many of the ambiguous problems of our people, Sheikh Said Efendi's work, called "Mecmûası of Fatwas", was written in two parts, which will shed light on many issues of contradiction that cause conflict within the ummah. Unfortunately, the first part was lost after the uprising in 1925.

This work is a first for us to present the original text and translation of the magazine to the readers 97 years after the martyrdom of Sheikh Said Efendi. The original of Şeyh Said Efendi's Mecmûatü'l-Fetâva, that is, the Arabic texts written in his own handwriting, are also published at the back of this translation. Thus, I had the honor of translating and preparing this valuable magazine, which was written by Sheikh Said Efendi, whose content was based on verses and hadiths, and benefited from the rare works of distinguished and distinguished scholars of the Islamic Ummah.
