Marxism Class Consciousness Politics

From the perspective of Marxism, class consciousness is the cognitive and practical state of existence of the class that emerges, develops, and ultimately connects to its own political goal and the path of social liberation in the social struggle. For the proletariat, all this gains meaning in the direction of socialism. Therefore, the subject of class consciousness in Marxism is the way classes relate to each other, which is manifested in their positioning against each other within capitalist production relations. Marxism defines the phenomenon of class consciousness not as a field of study in itself, but as a phenomenon inherent in this process of struggle. In Marxism, class consciousness is one of the most important realities that permeates the content of every description in which classes are mentioned in mutual relations. Classes gain reality in struggle, and in this struggle, classes have a consciousness to one degree or another. Social revolutions are radical upheavals that arise as a result of conflicts between classes equipped with class consciousness and are defined by changes in property relations. In this form, class consciousness is a dynamic phenomenon that connects class to social revolution.
