Etem Xemgin was born in 1947 in Harunusagi village of Akçadağ district of Malatya. After attending primary school in the village and secondary school in Antep, he immigrated with his family and settled in Istanbul in 1964 due to blood feuds in the village.
He graduated from high school and law school in Istanbul. After working as a lawyer in Istanbul for a while, he had to go to Europe in 1980 when he realized the drawbacks of staying in Turkey during the political developments of the time. He is currently in Europe and has three children.
The author wrote in Europe, "Human Rights in Kurdistan"; In Europe and Turkey, "History of Kurdistan" (three volumes); He has published books in Turkey called "Religious Beliefs and Their Effects in Kurdistan" and "Mazda Belief and Zoroastrianism at the Origin of Alevism".

"The views and cultural values of the Mazda religious belief continue to exist under the mask of Islam among the Alevi and Bektashi people. The state's goal is to try to manipulate Alevism, which it wants to shape in order to use it in its own service, by emptying its roots and sacred values based on faith, and to reduce it to a tool in its aims and functions." It is clearly seen that it is.

It turns out that the philosophy of Alevism, which is based on its approach to God and humanity, originates from the belief in Mazda, which had a great influence in its geography in the past, and the underlying Zoroastrian doctrine. Mazda, who is the god in the philosophy of this belief and Zoroastrianism, means 'the one who gave us', meaning 'the one who gave us'. Again, in the Kurmanci dialect of Kurdish, Ezda means 'Ez' I, 'da' he gave, and means "he gave me". With this essence and meaning, it is clear that Alevism is compatible with the philosophy of looking at God and humanity, and even has the same meaning."

In his work, E. is put under the spotlight.
