Medieval Philosophy
For approximately one hundred and fifty years, the Middle Ages have been considered worth examining in terms of philosophy. Considering the individual and institutional studies on the Middle Ages, it can be claimed that the last hundred and fifty years have been productive. The philosophical world of the Middle Ages, which is largely woven with theological elements, is brought to light through texts, and philosophical histories and studies are written in line with different understandings and insights. Written histories of philosophy are produced either by historians who adopt a rationalist attitude or by historians who claim that revealing the contents of faith is the main duty of the writing of the history of philosophy in this period.
