Some lives are lived differently than others. In these lives, every passing year and every event opens new, different windows for the next one; The owner of that life does not hesitate to look through these windows, sometimes to pass through doors that he does not know what is behind, he takes risks, pays the price, and dares. The youth memories of journalist Osman Saffet Arolat, who was born as the son of poet Ali Mümtaz Arolat, also display a world experienced in this manner. He also has a "utopia" to change his country and the world; He took part in youth movements during his university years. Participates in actions; prepares brochures and posters, and publishes union newspapers. He worked as the editor-in-chief of ANT magazine for a while, and was tried and arrested because of his articles. While he worked as a news agency, foreign radio correspondent and television broadcaster for many years, he also continued to produce. Memoirs of a Youth Leader consists of Arolat's experiences between 1959 and 1974, some of his articles published in ANT magazine during this period, and his personal notes. Osman Saffet Arolat, who brought together his memories about the journalism profession in his book titled Babıâli Memories, previously published by our publishing house, still continues to write articles in Dünya newspaper.
