
Mervani Ruler Nasruddevle Ahmed
This book is written by Nasrüddevle Ahmed b., the ruler of the Diyar-ı Bekr region, which includes a part of today's Southeastern Anatolia, between 1010 and 1061. It is about Mervân's life and state administration. The reign of Nasruddevle Ahmed was the period when the Mervani State (983-1085) progressed. The shaping of the ethnic and religious map of the region began during his reign, and the Mervani country witnessed intense construction activities. Nasruddevle based his domestic politics on justice, made great efforts for the welfare and peace of his country, and pursued a peaceful policy towards neighboring states and emirates. Thanks to Nasrüddevle's policy, which prioritized ensuring peace and security, scientists, poets and physicians from all over the Islamic world turned to the capital Meyyâfârikin and Amid.
