How did Metristepe become Metrestepe?
One of the areas where the War of Independence took place is Metristepe, near Bozüyük. This is the fiction, a construction company built a site consisting of villas near Metristepe in the 2000s, and the houses were sold as "Villas with Metristepe View". The name of the site is Metristepe, but probably because many wealthy men settled their mistresses in these villas, the name of the site gradually changed to "Metristepe Villas".
These villas are now occupied by the grandchildren of those who participated in the Battle of Metristepe. Nursen, the hero of this novel, is one of the residents of Metrestepe villas, but she does not know what life will bring to her.
