Murasaki Shikibu'nun Günlüğü - Hasan Ali Yücel Klasikleri
Murasaki Shikibu (970?-1014?): His real name is unknown, as are his birth and death dates. Murasaki is the name of one of the heroines in his famous novel Genji Monogatari, and Shikibu is the title of her father. Apart from Genji Monogatari, which is considered the most famous classical novel of Japanese literature, Murasaki Shikibu has a work in which he collected 128 poems and a diary he wrote between 1008-1010. In addition to the palace life and ceremonies of the period vividly described in Murasaki Shikibu's Diary, there are also important clues about the life of this famous writer, about whom very little information is available.
