Halamin Sakizlari
In the end, a fifteen to twenty kilo human baby had no chance of resisting the neighbor aunt who was passionate about washing his eyes. When I had my arm or the back of my neck caught, I would feel helpless like the roosters my grandfather took to slaughter, and I would surrender after a few struggles. The neighbor aunt would sit at the basin, squeeze me between her legs so I wouldn't run away, and start washing me. After the head was soaped, the roots of the hair were scraped with nails, occasionally struck with the palm of the hand, and if a solid sound could not be produced, it was tried again. These blows were similar to the head blows made by the calf while suckling its mother to get more milk, and the aunt would make a similar move to get more dirt.
