Charles Darwin Yaşamım
Back Cover Text (From the Promotional Bulletin)
The work The Origin of Species, published in 1859 by Charles Darwin, one of the most important scientists of all time, gave a new perspective not only to the science of biology, but also to the entire human culture, from literature to philosophy, and became a turning point in man's quest to understand the world. This book, consisting of the memoirs written by Darwin, who was the first to discover the fact that all living things on Earth come from a common ancestor, reveals the unknown sides of this great scientist. In Darwin's memoirs, it is also possible to see how he changed his religious beliefs as he developed the idea of evolution.
In his later years, Darwin wrote his memoirs both for fun and to pass on information about himself to his children and grandchildren. His memoirs, compiled by his son Francis Darwin after his death, were first published in 1876 under the title Life and Letters of Charles Darwin. But this first edition does not include all of Darwin's writings. This book in your hand has been translated into Turkish from the editions of Charles Darwin's Autobiography, which were published in full in later years.
