As soon as our ideal of uniting all Germans within the borders of a great state and providing this nation with the conditions of a true future, that is, the means of living, was understood, all our enemies suddenly stood against us. War was inevitable. In order to prevent this war, we had to agree to betray the fundamental interests of the German nation.
We could not trade our core interests for ostensible independence. Such an attitude would benefit the Swedes and Swiss, who are always ready to gargle some empty formulas to line their pockets. In any case, the Weimar Republic did not want more. What can we do, such ambition(!) could not be adapted to the philosophy of the Third Reich.
