Nietzsche is a philosopher of life. It glorifies the body in motion, lost in movement, dance and music, the body that manifests itself in illness or takes on a Dionysian power. Against the nihilism that gnaws at his age, denies life, and is caught up in the secular humiliation of the body that has lasted for centuries, Nietzsche proposes a new image of thought: A philosophy of a hammer that makes the intestines of old and hollow idols resonate and embraces lightness, gesture, and music. Thus, freed from metaphysical illusions, Nietzsche proposes an aesthetics of existence; This aesthetic is often unfairly interpreted as a poetic play with skill but without deep coherence.
