Kasidedes in Friends Councils were formed around the odes and ghazals he wrote himself in the Necatigil archive.

Each poem extends to a memory, a photo album. While Necatigil continues a tradition by crowning thank-you and congratulatory days such as tea party, picnic, New Year's Eve, graduation, guest house, award, birth, retirement and farewell with poetry, his daughter Ayşe Sarısayın tells the stories of these poems based on her memories, testimonies and using books.

Kasideler in Friends' Councils is a unique memoir that shows the subtleties of Behçet Necatigil's daily life and his relationships with his friends.

My father would sometimes disappear during meetings with his friends, and come back a short time later with an ode appropriate to the situation they were in, satirizing or praising those present. While the eulogy was being read, my mother would invite my sister and me to listen.

We knew that sometimes he wrote the ode in advance and took it with him to the meeting, but we thought that he gave these odes, which had been hidden from view for years, to one of his friends and that there was no copy of them. What a mistake!
