The fact that knowledge is socially constructed means that reaching more valid information is only socially possible. On the contrary, we believe that knowledge has social foundations, and that a restructuring by evaluating criticisms of past practices and establishing more pluralistic and universalist structures can increase the objectivity of social sciences. We tried to show three things in this report. The first is how social science as a form of knowledge was formed historically and why it differentiated into a relatively standard set of disciplines in the period from the late eighteenth century to 1945. Second, what questions do the developments that have taken place around the world since 1945 pose to this division of intellectual labor? and thus brought the organizational structure, which was put in place in the previous period, back on the agenda of discussion. Thirdly, by elucidating a series of fundamental intellectual questions that have been much discussed in recent years, "what kind of social science is it now?" is to determine an attitude that seems optimal to us in order to go further in answering the question. Ultimately, we want to discuss the restructuring of social sciences in the light of this history and recent debates. We do not have simple, clear-cut formulas to recommend; We have only a few controversial suggestions that seem to help us move in the right direction. There are undoubtedly other solutions that would take steps in the right direction, and we urge others to develop such suggestions. In our opinion, the most important thing, let's repeat once again, is to be able to discuss the issues underlying the problem urgently and clearly, within the limits of reason.
