Origin of Species
In 1859, Charles Robert Darwin created a masterpiece that would surpass his time in The Origin of Species, in which he explained the theory of evolution and its functioning, one of the most powerful theories in the history of science today. He took the facts of nature, combined them with his own observations and discoveries, enriched them, and put them into an unshakable structure that could be supported from many different angles with his experiments, investigations and explanations.
Thousands of years of humanity asking, "Where did we come from?" Darwin, who enabled us to provide a scientific answer to the question for the first time, completely changed the course of the history of science and his impact on human thought was enormous.
Evolutionary biology has developed from the path paved by Darwin in the more than 150 years since the publication of The Origin of Species and is now properly referred to as the science of the century. And today, evolution is the integrative mortar not only of biology but of all modern sciences. This mortar will undoubtedly form the basis of the construction of humanity's future.
“There is indeed sublimity in this view of life, which understands it in this way, and realizes that from so simple a beginning countless forms, the most beautiful and most extraordinary, have arisen and are being derived, as this planet moves round and round according to the immutable law of gravitation.” (Darwin)
We invite everyone to meet this view of life.
