Back Cover Text (From the Promotional Bulletin)

This book contains directly written accounts of Osho's personal dentist's experiences with him at his home in Pune and Rajneeshpuram. It is a funny, moving, original and unique document where you get a glimpse of an enlightened Master working on his students.

“You Devageet, you will take my notes. I will speak from the dentist's chair. No Buddha ever did such a thing… but you know me; I'm a little crazy. These notes you took from the dentist's chair will one day turn into a beautiful book. This will not be like my other books, they are my words compiled from my conversations. In my speeches, I address the world, the next generation of humanity.”

~ OSHO

Originally trained as a dentist in Edinburgh, Devageet was a family man who practiced dentistry by profession in England and Australia until his mid-thirties. His search for inner truth and meaning took him in many directions. He made art, learned the psychology of Freud, Jung, Adler and others, Eastern and Western philosophies, and all religions, including Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Zen, Sikhism, Sufism, Taoism.

As soon as he met Osho in April 1976, he knew he had found the spiritual master he was looking for. He was given a new name and a new life.

For over twelve years until Osho left his physical body in January 1990, Devageet had the privilege of being Osho's personal dentist while his master, sitting in the dentist's chair, worked on his dentist.
