The story of Joel Knox, who is sent to live with his father, whom he has never seen since the day he was born, after the death of his mother, finds himself suddenly in a different environment, one he has never known before. It is the story of a young man who finds himself in the company of very interesting people, losing his innocence and stepping into the world of adults. In the end, Joel Knox grows up like everyone else, but he will carry the traces of his childhood and youth marked by abandonment, loneliness and difference throughout his life.
