The history of the Palestinian Communist Party is the history of the political efforts of Palestinian Arabs and Jewish immigrants on the basis of class solidarity. This joint party struggle, which was launched in 1919 as an alternative to Zionism, failed in 1948 for various objective and subjective reasons. The communist movement emerged from the Zionist movement, completely separate from the settled Arabs in Palestine; Under the supervision of the Comintern, it has come to struggle against colonialism and Zionism, despite all its political shortcomings. The wavering in the party's political line, police pressure, riots and uprisings in the region; It could not prevent Arab and Jewish communists from struggling to establish a just society in historical Palestine. This book is more than a party history; It makes a note in history of the struggle for internationalism waged by Arab and Jewish communists in the British Mandate of Palestine. While a neglected or forgotten period of Palestinian history is illuminated, it also explains how the State of Israel was created.
