Quantum Theory
Quantum Theory is one of the most exciting, challenging and still mysterious areas of science. By the early 20th century, scientists such as Planck, Einstein, Bohr, Heisenberg, and Schrödinger began to solve strange and challenging paradoxes that seemed to destroy the basic assumptions of “classical” physics, that is, the basic rules of physics we learn in school. For example, at the subatomic level, one particle seemed to know what the other particles were doing. According to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, there was a limit to how precisely nature could be observed. As a result, the explanations provided by Quantum Theory were much more accurate than expected; Moreover, it could be applied to almost all areas of chemistry and physics.
Quantum Theory progresses all these developments step by step and deals with all aspects of the theory, from questions posed to Bohr's "Copenhagen interpretation" that are still unanswered today, to wave/particle duality.
