Random Me is a narrative written as if you were telling it to a close friend. Engin Geçtan begins his story from America, where he went as a young physician in the mid-fifties. While narrating his first professional experiences in a foreign country, he also creates a colorful depiction of the America of the past: travels, colleagues from different countries, ethnic groups, belief systems, lifestyles, art and culture life of the period... Then returning to Turkey, first clinical experiences, practice experience, meeting the vicissitudes of academic life, endless searches in the process of becoming a psychiatrist...
