1946 Yılı Kürdistan Cumhuriyetinin Yadigarları
The "Republic of Kurdistan", declared under the leadership of Pêşewa Qazi Mihemed in Mahabad, Iran, in 1946, is one of the most important pages of recent Kurdish history. Although many studies have been conducted in this field, these studies appear to be insufficient. One of the biggest deficiencies in this field is the lack of interviews with both the witnesses of the period and the people who personally held various positions in the "Republic of Kurdistan".
In this study, Kakşar Oremar interviewed people who were personally involved in the "Republic of Kurdistan" and obtained very important information that will be the source of that period from the living witnesses of the period. This information, obtained by the author through interviews, is very important data to shed light on the period and is the most comprehensive study published on the subject to date.
This work in your hand, which consists of two parts, consists of 640 pages. The first part of the study consists of analysis and general evaluations about the "Republic of Kurdistan". The second part consists of interviews with live witnesses of the period. At the end of each chapter there are photographs related to the subject. Each of the photographs is a historical document.
Living witnesses from the Republic of Kurdistan who were interviewed:
Mîna Qazî (wife of Pêşewa Qazî Mihemed); Elî Qazî (son of Pêşewa Qazî Mihemed), Îfet, Munîr, Perwîn and Suheyil Qazî (daughters of Pêşewa Qazî Mihemed), Dr. Seyîd Ezîz Şemzînî (one of the military officials of the Republic of Kurdistan), Kerîm Zend (one of the teachers of the period), Menaf Kerîmî (Minister of Education of the Republic of Kurdistan), Xeni Bilûryan (one of the politicians of the period)
