Since the birth of the Department of Religious Education in our universities, a comprehensive religious education textbook has not been produced for our students. Each of our colleagues has tried to carry out their lessons mostly in line with their own studies or with different books, book chapters and articles. However, this situation could not ensure the unity of the subject and brought extra burden to our students. The lack of a textbook in this field has been expressed in almost every Religious Educators Coordination meeting.

Taking all these needs into consideration, we prepared the book "Religious Education" with 11 topics, with the contribution of 12 academic friends. We believe that this book will contribute to the success of Faculty of Theology graduates who will serve in both formal and non-formal religious education institutions.
