rhetoric
Aristotle is the most prominent philosopher of ancient philosophy. It is accepted that only Plato could reach a similar level of philosophy in ancient times. Aristotle, who left his mark on ancient times, is considered by many to be one of the greatest philosophers of all ages. It is accepted by almost everyone that the number of people who can hope to compete with what he achieved in science and philosophy can be counted on the fingers of one hand.
Aristotle wrote works in many fields such as logic, natural sciences, metaphysics, psychology, ethics and political philosophy. The body of works, called "Aristotle's corpus", consisting of 1462 pages originally in Greek, consists of the notes of his lectures taken by himself or his students.
In his work Rhetoric , which he wrote on the art of speaking, Aristotle discusses in detail the classifications, definitions and examples that he sees as the details of a good speech. While he examines the variables within the scope of rhetoric in depth, he excludes many variables that he evaluates independently.
According to Aristotle, in addition to speaking, every behavior, facial expression and even the choice of clothing related to communication and interaction between people falls within the scope of rhetoric, and this theory, which is directly involved in existence, takes place in every moment of life, from literature to religion.
