Robinson Crusoe
The book tells the journeys of Robinson Kreutzner, the youngest son of a middle-class family living in England, with his dreams of traveling the world, and the events he encounters along the way. During these journeys, when the ship he was traveling on sank, he was forced to live alone on a deserted island for 28 years. In the second book, which was added later and called The New Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, Robinson returns. After staying here for a while, he sets out to sea again. From Madagascar, it passes through China, Russia and back to England. He trades during these journeys and compares his own culture with those of these countries. Concepts such as honesty, courage, dedication, creativity, solidarity and sense of adventure are discussed in the book. Published in full text and in a single volume with Aksit Göktürk's meticulous translation, the new edition of Robinson Crusoe is presented with Grandville's illustrations and a meticulous printing.
