Sahabi Caban El-Kürdi ve Tabii Meymun Bin Caban

This research is considered the only comprehensive study about the lives and narrations of our Prophet Caban and his son Meymun (ra). As understood from the details of the research, Caban and his son Meymun (ra) were people of piety, piety and asceticism. Because it is narrated that Abu Khalda said: "I heard from Meymun al-Kurdi when he was with Malik bin Dinar. Malik bin Dinar said to him: 'Sheikh, why doesn't he narrate anything from his father? Your father dates back to the time of the Prophet (pbuh). caught up!' He said: 'My father would not narrate anything from the Prophet (pbuh) to us for fear that he would say something too much or too little.'
Son Meymun was also an ascetic and righteous person like his father. He was very impressed by the narrations coming from Tabiun. He used to chat a lot with Malik bin Dinar. Imam Zehebi said the following about him: "He knew the good scholars. He is among those who are considered reliable among the Tabi'in. He was one of the well-known writers of the Mushaf."
Malik bin Dinar described Meymun el-Kürdî as "Sheikh (teacher)".
