In the last months of 1909, Armenian uprisings broke out in eastern Anatolia and Adana. This event was followed by the uprising in Albania in 1910. Civil uprisings created unrest throughout the country. The old sultan made a Balkan tour, starting from Thessaloniki and covering Monastir, Skopje and Pristine. This trip was heard from all over the country.
