The problems of our current period and the necessary connection between them and the progress of science require us to focus our attention on the historical and social aspects of science. It is also necessary to be aware of how science came to its current state, how it responded to successive forms of society, and what contribution it made to the shaping of those societies when appropriate. Because, whatever remains obscure and difficult to understand in contemporary science and its social context, their source lies in the attitudes and institutions that have survived from ancient times to the present day. Therefore, taking a step towards understanding what science (and technology) means today and what kind of future it has; The only way to understand where science (and technology) comes from and where it is going is to look at it from a historical and holistic perspective; to examine it within its historical and social relations; In short, it is to examine in detail the interactions between science and society throughout history. We need to examine once again, from a new perspective, how the current situation arose in order to overcome the difficulties we face and to use the new opportunities offered by science for the purpose of happiness and prosperity, not the destruction of humanity. This book does exactly that. To reveal and define the interrelationships between the development of science and developments in other aspects of human history; It tries to help understand some basic problems arising from the impact of science on society and society on science.
