The Expedition of Iranian scholar and traveler Nasir Xosro was published among Avesta Publications. I have traveled to many cities throughout my life; I have seen many cities and castles in the Arab, Persian, Indian and Turkish regions, but I have never seen a city like the city of Amid in this world. I have never heard the description of such a magnificent place. -Nasir Xosro-Iranian scholar and traveler Nasir Xosro goes from Merv to Sarahs and Nishapur... Qazvin in 1046. After Handan and Şemiran, he reaches Hoy. Then, respectively, Muradiye, Van, Vestan, Ahlat, Bitlis, Kıf Onzor castle, Erzen, Meyafarkin, Amed, Diyarbekir, Harran, Kızıl, Suruç, Manbiç, Halep, Sermin and Maerretül-numan and Kevimat, Hamat and Urke, Tripoli, Kalemun. It passes through Traberzan, Cübeyl, Beirut, Seyda and Sur and reaches Akka. He goes from Jerusalem to Mecca and Medina. He notes what he sees and hears during this journey, which lasts about 7 years, and later publishes these notes as a book under the name Sefername. Sefername is valuable in two respects, one is literary and the other is sociological. From a literary perspective, this book is one of the most beautiful prose works of the fifth century Hijri. It is fluid and uncovered. All of the meanings are the first that come to mind and are faithful to what is intended to be explained. Each chapter of Sefername is like a picture drawn by Nasser Xosro for that region. In today's words, Nasser photographed him. - Sayyed Muhammad Debur Siyaqi -
