Delilleriyle Şafi İlmihali
Qadi Abu Shuja worked as a professor on the Shafi'i Sect in Basra for more than 40 years. Later, he settled in Medina-i Münevvere and served the Masjid-i-Nabawi until his death, and he was buried in "Bab-ı Gabriel", close to the holy cells of our Prophet (pbuh). This beautiful work he wrote was taught as a textbook in madrasahs for centuries.
He introduces his book as follows:
"Some of my friends wanted me to write a work covering the jurisprudential subjects of the Imam Shafi'i Sect, with a short text and a lot of meaning, divided into sections and articles that are easy for both the reader and the reciter, and can be memorized for beginners. Based on Allah's demand for tawfiq, I hope to see its reward." I embarked on this work hoping for Him to do so. Almighty Allah is able to do whatever He wishes, has great grace towards His servants, and is aware of everything about them.
