Although Cahit Zarifoglu's poetry is found so incomprehensible, obscure or difficult to understand, no sane poetry reader (as a critic or reader) has ever had the courage to reject or ignore these poems.
-Rasim Özdenören-
No matter what text belongs to Cahit Zarifoglu, you enter his world as if you were entering a climate. You change a person in the same way that entering a new climate changes people.
-Scholar Hero-
No matter what characteristics he may have guided the young Muslim poets who started writing after him, those who came after him will find something to learn from in him. Both in terms of the unique qualities of poetry and the tendencies of a Muslim poet in his worldly life.
-Ismet Özel-
Cahit Zarifoğlu had reached such a point that he had established a poetic language within his own world and he used it very well. In other words, when a situation arose or a perception occurred that belonged to poetry, that ineffable, he would immediately pour it into poetry.
-Erdem Bayazit-
In my opinion, Cahit's poetry does not have an identity that can be immediately formulated and explained within a certain pattern. Cahit, in the old words, a born poet, was a poet from birth.
-Akif Inan-
In today's world, where achieving harmony and communicating emotions in Turkish is perhaps the most difficult task of a poet, he also added 'holding a coal in his hand' to this. While he was constantly exalting his 'situation' for the better, he was also struggling to adapt his 'poetry' to his new 'situation'.
-Prof. Dr. Hussein Khatami-
I asked Ece Ayhan, according to her, "Cahit Zarifoglu" is one of the artists who has best grasped the problem of structure in poetry and can be shown as an example in this regard. He also stated this in An Armless Calligrapher.
-Cemal Süreya-
I could only watch Cahit Zarifoglu's poetry and prose from my own private corner, in that distance and separation. This subtle poetry, closed but definitely artistic prose, which could not find a place in the atmosphere of camping, always preserved its unique values.
-Selim Ileri-
I think Cahit Zarifoglu's poetry can be taken as data that sheds light on many things, including all his other works, even the 'answers to the reader' he wrote under his pen name. This poem is a poem that grasps people in a very simple way.
